Japanese Paper Lampshade

Description

And a very primitive one too... I have too much time in my hands. I lie awake at night and the voices in my head tell me to be productive and so I made a japanese paper lampshade. There was a lot of Japanese paper around so I made one lol. The lamp was bought from some gift shop in Marseille, France. Dad said it was from a shady moroccan man. Dad's so weird.

Materials:
1.) Brown yarn
2.) Bamboo Sticks
3.) Papel de Japon (Japanese Paper)
4.) Glue (diluted 3 Glue: 1 water)
4.) Cutter, Scissors

Instructions:
1.) Cut the bamboo sticks according to your desired dimensions (I used a corrogated kitchen knife lol please don't tell my mum).
2.) Tie your sticks together with the yarn
3.) Paste the shit out of the japanese paper and trim the extra paper edges with a scissor or a cutter when it's dry.

You can actually add designs which you can print. You can use any paper as long as the paper is translucent but I RECOMMEND japanese papers, since the level of porosity of a japanese paper is very high, and has a very chaotic surface. This randomized the refraction of light as the light from the candle passes through the paper and scatters the light with a more consistent yet random and tender glow. Yes. Science rocks.

TLDR: I told you I had too much time.
